Shipping Clerk

Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team in Alpharetta, GA. This is a full-time opportunity with a four-day workweek, offering long weekends every week. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, is comfortable operating a forklift, and takes pride in ensuring shipments are accurate and on time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare products for shipment.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Create and process shipping documents, including packing lists and Bills of Lading.
• Print, organize, and close sales orders.
• Perform inventory transfers, cycle counts, and order picking.
• Document shipments by taking photos and uploading them to the company network.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers and internal departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience .
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required (certification or ability to obtain certification).
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
• Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
