CT Technologist to join the imaging team at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

This night shift role covers Friday–Sunday, 7 PM–7:30 AM, supporting one of the busiest Level I trauma centers in the Southeast.

Assignment Details

· 1 Tech per Scanner to balance workload

· 2 Techs in the Control Room for scanning and monitoring

· Dedicated ED Tech for emergency cases (with additional support available for lifting/assisting)

Requirements

· Active ARRT Certification in CT (required)

· 1+ year of CT Technologist experience (hospital setting preferred)

· Knowledge of imaging procedures, radiation safety, and emergency patient care

· Ability to work effectively in high-acuity, trauma environments

· Strong teamwork and communication skills

· BLS certification preferred

· Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Responsibilities

· Perform CT imaging procedures per physician orders and hospital protocols

· Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and safety during exams

· Operate and maintain CT scanners and related imaging equipment

· Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to deliver accurate diagnostics

· Maintain compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies

· Assist with lifting and transporting patients, particularly in ED trauma settings

· Accurately document procedures and results in EMR systems

· Provide compassionate patient care, communication, and comfort throughout exams
