Kitchen Manager
Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25 hourly base rate Responsibilities of the Kitchen Manager:
- Follow all Board of Health requirements and the state of Georgia Guidelines.
- Remain in compliance as a Certified Food Manager.
- Ensure that staff obtain their Food Handlers Certification or Certified Food Manager Certification.
- Ensure all menus are approved and signed by the location dietician or Executive Chef.
- Follow nutrition requirements and portion sizes.
- Create and post updated menus for clients.
- Supervises and coaches staff to ensure policies and procedures are implemented effectively.
- Responsible for preparing bag lunches, preparing dinners and snack items.
- Ensure that breakfast items are stocked and prepared.
- Responsible for inventory, purchasing and ordering.
- Ensure all dry good storage products are not past their expiration date.
- Ensure all inventory is secured in a locked storage area.
- Ensure kitchen and appliances are thoroughly cleaned.
- Experience with functionality of commercial kitchen equipment.
- Batch scratch food preparation.
- 1+ year of experience in a behavioral health facility
- 2+ years with hands-on production experience
- ServSafe Certification
- HACCP Certification
- Scratch / Batch production experience
- Hotel / Restaurant experience is a plus
