Team Leader
Job Title
The Team Lead is responsible for supporting the management team by demonstrating a selling behavior, leading a selling team, and promoting a positive work environment and a proactive work ethic.
Essential Functions:
Assist the store manager/assistant manager with daily operations, activities, and tasks as needed and as directed.
Support business operations, policies, and procedures.
Perform sales and stock duties (receiving and feeing merchandise, and stock duties)
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
Ensure proper merchandising and display of merchandise and visual presentations.
Oversee and monitor all methods of loss prevention for the store of company assets.
Assist the store manager/assistant manager in maintaining company standards for the store.
Assist with the development of new sales as assigned.
Ability to complete banking.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience and/or similar experience in a related area is required and/or visual merchandising experience is required.
Must have a high level of integrity.
Must have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Must demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Environmental Demands:
Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and lifting (up to 55 lbs).
