Data Science Consultant

A Palantir Foundry consultant with O9 Solutions experience combines expertise in Palantir's data integration and analytics platform, Foundry, with knowledge of O9's supply chain planning and execution capabilities. These individuals play a crucial role in helping clients leverage both platforms to achieve enhanced data-driven decision-making and operational excellence within their supply chains and broader enterprise operations.

• Solution Design & Architecture: Partnering with clients to understand their needs and designing robust, scalable solutions that maximize the value of both Palantir Foundry and O9 functionalities, including data pipelines, semantic models, operational workflows, and potential AI components.
• Implementation & Deployment: Leading and participating in the hands-on development and deployment of solutions, including data integration, transformation, and application building within Palantir Foundry, while ensuring seamless integration with O9 modules like demand planning, supply chain analytics, and master planning.
• Data Integration & Modeling: Developing and maintaining data models, data pipelines, and data transformations within Foundry, leveraging tools like Python and PySpark to perform ETL processes and derive new datasets for business applications, while ensuring data quality and adherence to data governance standards.
• Application Development: Building and customizing Foundry applications, dashboards, and workflows using tools like Workshop, Slate, Code Workbooks, and Quiver to meet specific client needs and enable real-time analysis and decision-making for supply chain and other operational functions.
• AI/ML Integration: Guiding clients in the adoption and implementation of AI/ML features within Foundry, including model development, deployment, and governance using Foundry's Ontology and Machine Learning Tooling, potentially leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency, strategic planning, and real-time decision-making.
• Client Engagement & Consulting: Working closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, provide technical leadership and guidance, manage expectations, and drive initiatives forward, according to Oracle.
• Collaboration & Training: Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and other teams, as well as conducting training sessions and workshops to enable knowledge transfer and successful adoption of Palantir Foundry and O9 solutions.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Conducting troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance of Foundry and O9 solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Best Practices & Documentation: Contributing to the development of best practices for Foundry and O9 implementation, maintaining solution documentation, and staying up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of both platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Palantir Foundry, including hands-on solution design and delivery, along with experience in data integration, pipeline development, and application deployment.
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry's platform, data integration tools, Ontology management, and application building capabilities.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Consulting experience and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly beneficial.

• Experience with O9 Solutions, including demand planning, supply chain analytics, and master planning.
• Understanding of supply chain management principles and domain expertise in relevant industries.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models within Foundry for operational analytics and predictive modeling.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance within Palantir Foundry.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., utilities, energy, finance, government).
