Instructional Aide positions are available for compassionate professionals interested in supporting students in a structured school environment. These per diem roles offer flexible, as-needed shifts based on school coverage needs, ideal for those seeking meaningful work on their own schedule.
Location: Ringgold, GA (School-Based)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group assistance under teacher and staff direction
- Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
- Implement behavior support plans and adhere to IEP guidelines when applicable
- Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care as needed
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Required TB test per district policy
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting if necessary
- Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start
Preferred Experience:
- School, special education, behavioral health, or child care background
- Supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certifications such as CPI, PMT, or RBT are advantageous though not mandatory
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
