Full-time Job Announcement Position: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) Program Chair/Instructor Location: Athens Campus Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package. Deadline to Apply: August 4, 2025 at 4:00pm. Responsibilities: Overseeing the program in its entirety. Oversee in-facility test dates scheduled by the program. Teach in simulation and laboratory settings. Clinical and classroom instruction. Curriculum implementation and evaluation. Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation. Perform other work duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Current and valid Georgia Registered Nurse (RN). Two (2) years of nursing experience as an RN, one (1) of which must have been in a long-term care facility (nursing home). Must have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults and/or supervising nurse aids. Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree Two (2) years teaching experience in a CNA Program. Experience with simulation and technology.
