Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance are maintained across our projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing inspections, test documentation, and compliance requirements for jurisdictional and third-party agencies. This is a permanent position with the opportunity for professional growth and development. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of our QA/QC processes, including inspections, testing, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures to ensure project quality and compliance with jurisdictional and third-party agency requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), work packages, and inspection tracking are properly managed and resolved.
- Utilize construction management and documentation software such as BIM360, Procore, or similar platforms for effective project management.
- Read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and submittals with a high level of accuracy to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams, including field staff, shop personnel, and management to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify issues, drive resolution, and track items through completion to ensure project quality and compliance.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment, ensuring all project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven experience managing inspections, test documentation, and compliance requirements for jurisdictional and third-party agencies.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes including NCRs, work packages, and inspection tracking.
- Experience with construction management and documentation software such as BIM360, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and submittals with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams.
- Proven ability to identify issues, drive resolution, and track items through completion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
