Job Title: Surgical Technologist – Operating Room (Trauma) Specialty: Surgical Tech / OR – Trauma Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (06:45 PM – 07:15 AM) Duration: 13 Weeks Location : Atlanta, GA Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist with strong Level 1 Trauma experience to support high-acuity surgical procedures, including craniotomy cases , in a fast-paced operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environment
- Assist surgeons during trauma and complex surgical procedures
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
- Anticipate surgeon needs, especially during neuro/trauma cases
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Support patient positioning, draping, and intraoperative care
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 Trauma experience (must be clearly listed in work history)
- Strong experience with craniotomy procedures
- Demonstrated high competency on skills checklist
- Certification as Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced OR setting
