Cross & Sons Plumbing has proudly served Georgia for over 50 years and is seeking an experienced, dependable, and customer-focused Service Plumber to join our team.

We primarily serve commercial customers throughout Metro Atlanta, performing service, repair, drain cleaning, troubleshooting, and light remodeling work.

Experience Preferred

• Minimum 5 years of plumbing service experience preferred
• Commercial service experience strongly preferred
• Applicants with less experience are encouraged to apply; however, more experienced candidates may receive priority consideration

Pay: Commission-based

Our compensation program rewards productivity, customer service, technical ability, and professionalism. Successful plumbers regularly earn substantially more than traditional hourly positions.

Many of our plumbers earn $70,000 to $150,000+ annually depending on performance, experience, and workload.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
• Must provide personal hand tools appropriate for the position
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to emergency calls when needed
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in drug testing as required by company policy
• Motor vehicle record and criminal history will be evaluated for job-related eligibility

What You'll Do

This is a working service plumber position. Applicants should be comfortable performing physically demanding work, troubleshooting plumbing systems, interacting with customers professionally, and completing required service documentation.

Duties include:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing system issues
• Repair, service, install, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and drainage systems
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer unclogs using cables and small jets
• Operate locating equipment, sewer cameras, and related diagnostic tools
• Read plumbing diagrams and system layouts
• Troubleshoot and repair lift stations and related equipment
• Entering confined spaces when required and properly trained
• Digging trenches and ditches as needed
• Loading, unloading, and transporting tools, materials, and equipment
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Request and retrieve materials and parts as needed
• Complete service documentation, invoices, and job records
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites
• Communicate customer matters, jobsite issues, and safety concerns to supervisors
• Stay informed on plumbing code requirements relevant to assigned work
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of field and shop operations

Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and may include commercial facilities, construction sites, crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, mechanical rooms, lift stations, and other physically demanding environments. Employees may be exposed to dust, chemicals, sewage, vibration, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, and work in confined spaces
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Sufficient vision, hearing, and depth perception to perform job duties safely
