We are now taking Applications for our 2026 Hospitality Management Internship.
Kitty Hawk Kites has been teaching the world to fly since 1974. We sell clothing, kites, watersports equipment, toys - anything you need for your next adventure! KHK operates in 7 states, with over 25 locations along the east coast! We strive to be the leading company in adventure recreation and retailing, by building a reputation for fun, and excellence through dedication to customer service, quality, safety, and value.As a leading employer on the Outer Banks for over 50 years, Kitty Hawk Kites is hiring a Hospitality Management Intern 2026! Internships last a minimum of 12 weeks.
Job Duties- Provide excellent customer service in person as well as through email, phone calls, text messages, and online chats
- Know and understand the recreational offerings that KHK offers
- Assist in tasks associated with recreational offerings that KHK offers (included but not limited to the following):
- Monitoring the Reservations multi-line telephone and voicemail systems
- Ensuring the Reservations systems are functioning and interfacing properly
- Diffusing any customer relations issues that arise related to Reservations
- Provide excellent customer service in person as well as through email, phone calls, text messages, and online chats
- Know and understand the recreational offerings that KHK offers
- Utilize excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills to promote, inform, and make sales of adventure programs
- Maintaining reservations system with accurate schedule and offerings
- Assist in scheduling and coaching of all Reservations staff
- Other projects as assigned
