Installation Technician – Healthcare IT & AV Equipment

Location: Tucker, GA (Metro Atlanta)
Pay: $22–$27/hour + Benefits | Full-Time

We’re hiring an Installation Technician to join our growing team at Cogent Technology Resource . In this role, you’ll install and service specialized medical IT equipment, AV systems, and mounting hardware inside hospital environments. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with your hands, and being part of a collaborative team, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Install and service specialized medical IT mounting hardware and equipment

• Perform post-construction installations in healthcare facilities

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and stock in a work van

• Prep job sites and assist with construction backing as needed

• Use software for backend documentation and reporting

• Collaborate with Sales, Technicians, and Management teams

• Build rapport with hospital staff while setting clear expectations

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience in construction, low voltage, or AV installation

• Clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle)

• Must live in Metro Atlanta and be able to commute daily to our Tucker office

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders in tight spaces

• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced, changing environment

• A self-starter who works well independently and with a team

• Positive, professional attitude with excellent communication skills

Work Conditions

• Some weekend or evening work (about 10%)

• Occasional overnight travel (about 10%)

• Physical work in hospital and clinical environments

Pay & Benefits

• $22–$27/hour , based on experience (overtime eligible after 40 hours/week)
