Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to join a Preschool Diagnostics Team at an early childhood school in Stone Mountain, GA. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a three-person team specializing in conducting comprehensive evaluations for incoming preschool students across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged children.
- Collaborate with team members to develop assessment protocols and share findings.
- Utilize expertise to support the identification and diagnosis of speech and language disorders.
- Communicate results and recommendations effectively with families and educational staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Georgia SLP license and teaching certification.
- Strong knowledge and experience conducting preschool speech and language evaluations.
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred to support diverse student populations.
- Experience working in healthcare, pediatric, and school-based settings is an asset.
Location:This position is onsite at an early childhood educational facility in Stone Mountain, Georgia, serving a district-wide student population.
