GA DOR - Systems Administrator 1 (774979)

Pay rate: $30.00 hr

Temp ( 6 months+)

Job Location : 4125 Welcome All Road Atlanta, GA 30349

Hours : 8 hours daily/5 days weekly

Job Description:

• Under direct supervision, installs, configures, & supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops &/or mobile devices.
• Performs necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Under limited supervision, oversees the installation, configuration, and support to a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices.
• Recommends equipment improvement or replacement.
• Serves as highest advanced-level subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance for professional staff. May also serve in a lead role.
• Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Manage network servers and technology tools.
• Set up accounts and workstations.
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator.
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
