Diesel Powertrain Diagnostic Technician

By day’s end, you’ve solved problems others couldn’t and left the shop cleaner than you found it.
What You Will Tackle
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines across mechanical and electrical systems, using advanced troubleshooting methods.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and thorough inspections to preserve peak vehicle performance.
- Leverage diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues quickly and accurately.
- Record all work performed with precise notes and service histories.
- Partner with fellow technicians to deliver timely, efficient service.
- Keep pace with new diesel technologies and industry best practices.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain an orderly, professional workspace.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel technology preferred.
- Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or in a closely related role.
- Strong grasp of diesel engine components, systems, and operation.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tooling.
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
