Aria, one of Atlanta’s most respected restaurants, is looking for passionate and motivated line cooks to join our culinary team.
For more than 25 years, Aria has been recognized for thoughtful modern American cuisine, genuine hospitality, and a commitment to excellence. After decades under the leadership of Chef Gerry Klaskala, Aria has entered an exciting new chapter with Executive Chef Austin Goetzman leading the kitchen.
We are looking for cooks who want to grow, refine their skills, and be part of a team committed to creating memorable dining experiences every night.
This is an opportunity to work in a small, focused kitchen where every cook plays an important role. Our team values technique, organization, consistency, attention to detail, and respect for great ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items with consistency, precision, and care
- Maintain high standards for station setup, organization, cleanliness, and execution
- Work closely with chefs and teammates during prep and service
- Learn and execute proper cooking techniques, recipes, and plating standards
- Assist with receiving, handling, and proper storage of ingredients
- Take ownership of daily prep, mise en place, and station readiness
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Contribute to a positive kitchen culture built on teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement
The Ideal Candidate
The right person for this role is someone who loves cooking and wants to continue developing their craft.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience cooking in a professional kitchen
- Fine dining experience preferred, but passion and attitude are equally important
- Takes pride in being organized, prepared, and consistent
- Has strong attention to detail
- Works well as part of a small team
- Is dependable, focused, and eager to learn
- Handles pressure with professionalism
- Brings curiosity, humility, and a desire to improve every day
Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$24/hour based on experience
- Five-day work week
- Restaurant closed Sundays
- Dining benefits
