Customs Entry Writer / Import Specialist
Location: 185 Southside Industrial Pkwy SE, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30354
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-site)
Compensation: Up to $30.00/hour
Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Import Specialist / Customs Entry Writer for a 6-month temporary assignment at our Atlanta office. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in customs entry processing who thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit customs entries for imported goods in accordance with U.S. Customs regulations
- Review commercial documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists) for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with clients, brokers, and government agencies to resolve entry issues
- Monitor entry status and ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Stay current with changes in customs regulations and procedures
✅ Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. Customs entry work
- Strong understanding of HTS classification, PGA requirements, and ACE system
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customs software platforms
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Info
This is a full-time, in-office role with potential for extension beyond the initial 6-month period based on business needs.
