Job Description
Join our team as a CT Technologist at Advocate Southeast, a leading teaching hospital with 637 licensed beds, renowned for its trauma, stroke, and chest pain centers. This facility offers a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will perform high-quality CT scans for diverse patient populations, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting CT imaging procedures with precision and care.
• Managing IV starts and ensuring patient safety throughout imaging.
• Collaborating effectively with clinical staff and supporting departmental workflows.
• Utilizing advanced Philips PACS and GE CT scanners, and documenting procedures in EPIC EMR.
• Adhering to facility protocols and maintaining compliance with licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of recent CT imaging experience in a hospital setting.
• Proven ability to operate GE scanners and Philips PACS systems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertions.
• Strong understanding of patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.
• Prior experience working in Level 1 Trauma Centers or teaching hospitals.
• Experience with busy ER and inpatient environments.

Schedule & Support:

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with variable scheduling over a 13-week cycle.
• No weekend rotations, no on-call requirements, but work includes holidays falling during the contract.
• Flexibility to request time off with manager approval.
• Orientation involves a one-day departmental overview and onboarding to facility protocols.
• Department fosters an inclusive culture focused on teamwork and quality care.
