JOB SUMMARY

The Roto-former Operator is responsible for producing manufactured products at the expected level of quality and rate of output by adhering to proper work standards, procedures, and policies.

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Adhere to all safety, legal, quality, and process control policies, procedures and regulations.
• Generate and maintain all required records, forms, and reports.
• Report any defective materials or questionable raw materials to management.
• Complete any job requested by management, including those not specifically contained in this description.
• Demonstrate willingness and availability to work any/all shifts as required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Operate the Roto-former as required to produce all products manufactured on-site.
• Drive lift trucks and other powered equipment used in material handling.
• Help Maintenance Department with PM and process troubleshooting if/when required.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork required to control the processing of production orders.
• Work safely and report any unsafe conditions found, or found and fixed, to the Plant Manager and/or the Manufacturing Manager.
• Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as training, safety, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Willingness to perform all duties assigned positively and professionally.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possession and use of appropriate interpersonal skills that provide leadership to create positive interaction among subordinates, peers, departments, and shifts.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or one to three years related experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment.
