Unique Skills:

Exciting opportunity within ERP Business Technology department for a talented Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web and application solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the entire technology stackfrom working directly with our customers and building user interfaces to coding backend services / databases.

Our ideal candidate will either be experienced with traditional web applications / portal development or be experienced with SAP Fiori and ABAP development. Also, the preferred candidate should be flexible to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies.

Preferred skills:

• Experience developing both front-end and back-end applications
• Proficiency in one or more front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, jQuery, Datatables, Bootstrap)
• Proficiency in one or more back-end languages or frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, SAP ABAP, SAP CDS)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA)
• Experience in SAP Fiori development (Standard, App extensions and Custom apps), SAPUI5 and Fiori tools CLI

Additional (Nice to have) skills

• Experience with Liferay DXP or SAP Commerce (Hybris)
• Familiarity with DevOps / CI-CD platform (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Programming experience with CDS views and OData service development
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 12 years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines which includes six (6) years specific ERP development / deployment experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.

Position Purpose :

This is a application development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the ERP team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream ERP applications. Responsible for developing code in support of new application functionality or defect remediation according to design specifications.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Creates plans according to schedules and assignments, and acts independently to carry them out.
2. Takes moderate to complex business requirements and models them in ERP applications. Learns and applies expertise on details concerning technical requirements.
3. Assures that solution designs meet requirements for scalability, performance and quality in accordance with negotiated service level agreements. Drives decisions related to architecture and design.
4. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability.
5. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
6. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
7. Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
8. Performs work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading ERP applications and processes. Responsible for tasks related to the development and deployment of systems, methodologies, standards and processes that result in the ability to create and manage the ERP solution.
9. Supports management in recruiting, hiring, and career development.
10. Creates application architectures and designs and configures complex enterprise applications based on the business requirements.
11. Leads the review, business case development and implementation of software development tools, methodology and software development standards.
12. May be called upon to serve as Project Manager in support of significant projects within their assigned functional area.
13. Assists with the development of work breakdown structures, project plans, and skills required. to develop and implement applications.
14. Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports application code in support of business requirements.
15. Independently prepares requirements, specifications, and business process map with minimal supervision.

1. Actively aware and advocate of ERP technology and industry trends. .
2. Provide thought leadership to key business leaders on business process designs to leverage world class process and current technology options for transformational business change. .
3. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
4. Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings. .
5. Serves as technical expert in one or more applications within a portfolio. .
6. Demonstrates innovation, foresight and mature IT architectural judgment in anticipating and solving complex IT architectural problems. .
