Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate specialized equipment used in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and procedural data, responding promptly to critical changes.
- Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures such as angioplasty and stent placements.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with all infection control protocols.
- Accurately document procedure details, supply usage, and patient responses.
- Adapt to different facility workflows and support teams as needed.
- Perform quality control checks and equipment maintenance to ensure readiness.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Allied Health, or a related field.
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
- Willingness and flexibility to accept travel assignments to various healthcare facilities.
