Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the key liaison between Client, supplier and the internal SGS global support team.
  • Responsible for building relationship within the different client departments and supplier base.
  • Identify and generate business development opportunities in coordination with GKAM
  • Develop a deep understanding of client requirements, needs and business objectives.
  • Generate, cultivate, and close leads and opportunities to support account sales strategies and goals developed with GKAM
  • Responsible for building effective and professional relationships and close cooperation with key internal customer support teams including Client Services, Global, Technical and Operational teams
  • Work effectively with GKAM and operations to deliver client expectations effectively and efficiently to grow account share according to strategic account management plan
  • Assist in development and maintenance of SGS Client Sharepoint site and all the program documentation: Work Instructions, SOP’s, Protocols, Program Manuals, Submission Request Form, etc.
  • Prepare required monthly/quarterly client reports such as business summary reports, defect analysis reports, and any other required reports
  • Assist in development of client presentations
  • Analyze client data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Gather SGS updates by SBU in preparation for client meetings
  • Together with GKAM develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve budget goals.
  • Prepare and release monthly vendor newsletters on SGS and client updates
  • Maintain client vendor list by SBU, product category and country, and collaborate with global frontlines team to expand global market share
  • Facilitate the coordination of workshops, seminars, and training sessions provided by SGS, for client and/or suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration with client teams and suppliers as needed.
  • Communicate, align, and monitor client requirements and expectations with local and global laboratories, as well as global coordinators
  • Maintain client systems with status of testing and follow up with global labs for missing or incorrect data
  • Handle and resolve client complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Must stay informed with industry news and SGS goals and initiatives, to effectively communicate with client and offer strategic solutions for their business needs.
  • Monitor DSO and follow up with client/vendors for outstanding payments
  • Partner with SGS GKAM to support the Client account globally as needed
  • Other duties assigned as necessary in response to business needs

Qualifications

  • Fluent in German (Required)

  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Computer literacy (creating, filing, saving/uploading, searching, backup, etc.)
  • Willing and able to work in a global network operating in various time zones
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook).
