Construction Controller POST NUMBER: 448025
- Lead construction accounting: project cost tracking, work in progress, billing, and revenue recognition
- Manage job-level reporting, subcontractor payments, and customer invoicing
- Oversee and mentor a team of project accountants
- Ensure alignment between budgets, contracts, and actuals
- Improve systems and processes using Procore, NetSuite, and Excel
- 7 years in construction finance or real estate accounting
- Proven leadership in fast-paced environments
- Procore experience required; NetSuite or similar ERP preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, job costing, WIP, and billing cycles
- Public private accounting background a plus
- CPA is preferred
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation: $180K–$220K base bonus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
