Overview
Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Cumming, GA. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting June 22, 2026 for 13 weeks in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), on a 12x3 pattern. Weekly pay range: $1,543 per week to $1,617 per week. Please note: no local candidates within 50 miles are being considered.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to adults undergoing rehabilitation, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation of progress.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and monitor for adverse reactions; perform wound care and other advanced nursing tasks as prescribed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physical and occupational therapy, physicians, social work, case management) to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct ongoing patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition coordination to support safe, timely return to community living.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform neuro checks and utilize NIHSS as indicated; respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.

Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an active Georgia license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in rehabilitation nursing
- Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS required
- Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN); BSN preferred
- Ability to work a night shift in an inpatient hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties in an inpatient rehabilitation/extended recovery unit and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
