Market Research Analyst

_The Distribution Partnerships team oversees $2B of the company's annual revenue and is responsible for all aspects of Online Travel Agents (OTAs), Travel Management Companies (TMCs), leisure agencies, wholesalers, consortia, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and Online Booking Tools (OBTs)._ **A Day in the Life:** As an individual contributor and reporting within the sales division, this role will report to the Senior Director, Distribution Partnerships. The Specialist, Market Research, will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's competitive placement through third-party partners and general market conditions. Minimum Salary $75,000 **What You'll Do:** + Monitor third-party and competitive distribution channels (direct websites, apps, and other booking sources), both manually and automated through data, to determine our brand product displays, accuracy of information, merchandising, labeling, review scores, positioning in sort order and new competitor products. + Report changes that occur and adjustments that are needed for Hertz to become more competitive. + Collecting, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making; make recommendations for new products or adjustments as necessary. + Provide detail and thorough research of all areas of marketplace conditions. + Liaise with internal departments including Revenue Management, Technology, Product, Marketing, and others to support decision making and changes as needed to ensure our data feed to partners is accurate and up-to-date. + Partner with rate canvassing providers to obtain market data Lead and/or support project status meetings, create schedules, identify potential issues, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.
