We are seeking an experienced Optometrist looking to make a significant impact in a new multi-specialty, community-focused healthcare setting. Join this healthcare facility in launching a brand-new optometry practice within a reputable, multi-specialty, non-profit health center dedicated to serving rural populations. If you're looking to lead and grow this exciting new initiative, then this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose eye conditions, including refractive errors and diseases.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and vision therapies, as well as medications as needed.
- Provide patient education on eye care and refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary.
- Deliver pre-and post-operative care and evaluate patients for additional medical conditions uncovered during exams, such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
- Act as the sole Optometrist on-site, with the opportunity to build and grow the practice through networking with local practitioners and community resources.
Benefits:
- Competitive guaranteed salary range of $150,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience and skills (including languages).

Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Combination of on-site and remote work with no weekend duties.

Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining.
