What You'll Do
- Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed
- Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actions
- Fabricates parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment
- Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Exercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare business recommendations
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role required
- Experience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor and/or other PLC troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and business leadership
- Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely including adhering to and following LOTO procedures
- Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather
- Demonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
