Overview
Position: Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech (Cardiac Sonography) located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is a travel assignment beginning 08/17/2026 for 12 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,893 to $2,050. Shift is 10-hour day shifts across four days per week. The work setting is hospital-based.

Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations (transthoracic echocardiography) and related imaging per department protocols.
- Acquire and optimize images using 2D, Doppler, M-mode, and color flow techniques; adjust equipment and patient position to maximize diagnostic quality.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor for patient safety, and maintain sterile and infection control practices.
- Document imaging findings, ensure accurate labeling and data entry, and communicate results to the interpreting cardiologist or medical team.
- Ensure compliance with credentialing requirements and maintain necessary certifications; adhere to safety and quality standards in all imaging activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care and workflow.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac sonography or a closely related specialty.
- Certifications: An appropriate credential in echocardiography:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS, OR
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or RCCS from CCI, OR
- Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from CCI.
- Additional credential (one of the following): RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT/CCI) preferred.
- BLS certification.
- Active credentialing at time of assignment and ability to work in a hospital setting.
- Education requirements aligned with credentialing for cardiac sonography.
