Water Restoration Service Technician

WATER RESTORATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN

$16.00 per hour to start...but...if you require a higher starting salary, show us you are worth it. We are willing and ready to talk.

We are looking for an experienced water mitigation and microbial growth remediation lead technician to join our team. As an experienced technician in this field, you understand how a typical day is structured. You will:

--Respond to a call for service and inspect for water damage or microbial growth. These customers may be homeowners, landlords or commercial property managers. Offer solutions to the customer. Help the customer understand how the insurance process works, if needed.

--Sign the job and begin the on-site work or provide a quote, if requested by the customer.

--Take responsibility for the project from start to the last step of signing the Certificate of Completion and Satisfaction.

--Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Position Requirements:

--The #1 requirement is to have excellent customer service skills in order to make the customer feel comfortable and confident that they made the right choice in choosing Restoration 1 North Atlanta to handle their service needs.

--Previous experience in the field of water damage mitigation. At least one year required.

--IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification required.

--IICRC Applied Microbial Restoration Technician (AMRT) certification highly desired.

--Cleaning driving record

--Ability to pass a criminal background screening

--Willingness to submit to pre-employment illegal drug testing

--Must be punctual and dependable

--Must be willing to be part of an on-call schedule which consists of being on-call every other week during the evening and every other week on the weekend.

--Must be able to physically lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis

--Knowledge of Xactimate software would be a plus
