Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. You will design and develop high-performance Python applications for trading, risk analytics, and pricing platforms.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications for Investment Banking and Capital Markets platforms.

• Build scalable, reusable, and well-tested Python modules for trading systems, risk analytics, pricing engines, and P&L reporting.

• Apply object-oriented and functional programming principles to deliver maintainable solutions.

• Optimize Python code for performance, latency, and memory usage.

• Develop reusable libraries and frameworks for cross-team consumption.

• Ensure clean, maintainable, and high-performance code using Python best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

• Proven expertise in building high-performance applications for trading, risk analytics, and pricing platforms.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented and functional programming principles with experience in optimizing Python code for performance and scalability.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
