Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering rehabilitative services under supervision to restore or improve function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion
- Support planning, organization, and participation in rehabilitative programs across the continuum of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Provide patient and family education on therapeutic activities, safety, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment provided and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards
- Support safe patient handling, transfers, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment as directed

Requirements
- Active Georgia license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Relevant experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts, three days per week (36 hours total)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow established care plans under supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety
