CNC Machinist

Pay: $22-$25/hr

Location: Morrow, GA

Status: Full-Time | Monday - Thursday (5am - 3:30pm or 6am - 4:30pm or 7am - 5:30pm)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to understand G and M code programs and make changes as appropriate
• Ability to understand wear offsets and change offsets accordingly
• Ability to change tools in the machine and input tool height measurements
• Ability to do their own set ups
• Ability to hold +/- 0.010 tolerance
• Ability to change fixtures and indicate fixture zero
• Ability to use coaxial indicators and edge finders and input work center offsets into machine control
• Ability to practice safe work habits
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine
• Quality inspection of parts produced using micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring equipment
• Read blueprints/specs and machine parts from the prints

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and machine settings.

Preferred:

Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.

May require lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment
