Job Description

• Independently perform high-quality quantitative RT-PCR workflows, including nucleic acid extraction
• Troubleshoot and analyze data while maintaining accuracy and consistency using standard software tools
• Execute next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation protocols for RNA and DNA workflows, both manual and automated
• Track and document work through multiple LIMS and automation systems
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and lab operations support
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and productive laboratory team environment
• Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and sound scientific judgment in daily tasks

Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR, NGS library preparation)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for data integrity and compliance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to identify challenges and drive tasks to completion
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general data analysis tools
• P rofessional, mature, and positive attitude in team settings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
• Willingness to expand responsibilities based on performance and project needs

Education/Training/Certifications

• MS or higher degree in Molecular Biology or a related field
• Experience with LIMS platforms and electronic lab documentation systems preferred
• Experience with liquid-handling automation (e.g., Biomek, Tecan, Mantis) is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
• Shift: 08:00 AM

Pay Rate/Salary

• Estimated Salary : $30.00 to $38.19 per hour based on qualifications.
