Short Term Front Desk - Chatham Oral Surgery
Join our team of professionals at Chatham Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for a short-term contract role (2-4 months) as a Front Office Assistant . This temporary position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice.
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-oriented professional to provide outstanding service to our patients. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience while managing administrative tasks. A pleasant personality, ability to multitask, and strong organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Process patient paperwork and verify information at check-in
- Answer and direct phone calls efficiently
- Schedule consultations and manage appointment calendars
- Order office supplies and provide general administrative support
- Maintain a clean and organized front office space
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Experience: Previous experience as a Front Office Representative in a dental or medical setting (oral surgery experience preferred)
- Adaptability in learning and navigating management software
- Basic knowledge of dental insurance and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain proactive and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available to work across Rincon, Pooler, and Savannah, GA as needed
- Temporary Contract: 2-4 months (No benefits or 401k)
- Schedule: Four-day workweek, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Location: Multiple locations (Rincon, Pooler, Savannah, GA)
- Compensation: Paid weekly
