Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile fields; assemble and arrange instruments and supplies; pass instruments to the surgeon and assist as needed.
- Maintain strict sterile technique, manage instrument counts, and verify sponge, needle, and instrument counts during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team, including circulator and anesthesia staff, to support safe and efficient cases.
- Assist with room turnover between surgeries, ensuring cleaning, positioning, and readiness for the next case.
- Respond to call requirements and support high-acuity cases, including Level 1 trauma scenarios; assist burns cases when applicable.
- Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and documentation practices throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Experience: Travel surgical tech experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience strongly preferred; burn experience preferred.
- Scheduling: Availability for on-call coverage with weekends and holidays; participate in a 2x3 day shift schedule.
- General: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced OR environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
