The facility has 637 licensed beds and a Level 1 Trauma designation. The role involves caring for patients with acute or chronic kidney disease and post-op urology or renal-related surgeries. Common patient comorbidities include diabetes, hypertension, infections, CHF, and electrolyte imbalances. The RN will manage a patient ratio of 1:4-6. A CNA will assist with vital signs, glucose checks, and patient mobility. The RN will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for discharge planning and patient education. Staff will use EMR systems and various medical equipment, including monitors and IV pumps. The RN is expected to work rotating weekends and major holidays as per departmental expectations.
