Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Learning Facilitator to support employee training and development across our production and support departments. This role is essential in ensuring employees receive the knowledge, tools, and ongoing education needed to succeed.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, proactive problem-solver, and creative thinker who can help design and deliver impactful learning programs while tracking employee progress and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Train new hires (direct and temporary staff) on company policies and procedures
- Support OSHA safety training and coordinate annual safety refreshers with the Safety Department
- Serve as instructor for internal training programs (Production Basic Education)
- Develop and manage training schedules tailored to departmental needs
- Communicate training plans and track employee progress with supervisors
- Maintain and update training records, SharePoint Lists, and Qualification Matrix
- Schedule and manage recurring training notifications
- Conduct refresher courses and recertification training as needed
- Stay current on company processes, policies, and safety standards
- Assist departments in developing training materials and resources
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of instructional or training experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
- Self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative
