Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including milling machines and lathes

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to produce machined parts to exact specifications

• Program, edit, and optimize CNC machine operations for efficiency and quality

• Perform quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments

• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and tools

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Document production data and maintain accurate records

• Train and mentor junior machinists as needed

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist

• Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines and lathes

• Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Excellent understanding of metalworking processes and machining techniques

• Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work

• Good mathematical skills and ability to perform complex calculations

• Familiarity with quality control procedures and ISO standards

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications preferred
