Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Salary: $138,000
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time)

Job Description

The Corporate Tax Manager will be a key member of the Corporate Tax Solutions team, supporting business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage client engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, and completion of tax projects while maintaining budget expectations
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns; evaluate staff performance for engagement reviews
• Identify opportunities to expand services with existing and prospective clients
• Review tax returns prepared by staff and recommend improvements for accuracy and tax savings
• Perform primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
• Research and consult on complex tax matters
• Utilize tax software to prepare and process returns
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across all organizational levels
• Gain a deep understanding of client operations and apply insights to tax engagements
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

• Active CPA license in Georgia (or eligible for reciprocity) or JD with active law license
• Corporate tax experience supporting large, multi-state, national, or global companies
• Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 4–7 years of progressive experience in tax compliance and/or tax consulting
• CPA or JD required

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience
• Strong experience in corporate income tax and ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes)
• Knowledge of multi-state taxation, international tax, and transfer pricing
• Proficiency in US GAAP and corporate tax regulations
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, client service, and presentation abilities
• Ability to travel as needed
