Athens Cooks in Athens, GA is looking for one barista/server to join our 17 person strong team. We are located on 100 Prince Ave Ste 103. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, hard-working and flexible

Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Take orders on our POS system at the counter
- Run food, drinks, and assist customers with boxing to-go food
- Setup and breakdown stations during cooking classes/private events
- Serve and assist Chef during cooking classes/private events
- Properly serve wine and beer
- Bus Tables, sweep or mop floors
- Prepare syrups from scratch
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Happily help out where needed. You may be asked to help with retail or other duties when slow. We are a small business and we promote teamwork and cross-training.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work at least three weekdays between 7:45 and 4 pm.
- Must be able to work the occaisional weekend or evening shift
- Proven working experience as a barista and/or server
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Consistent positive attitude and optimistic personality
- Patience
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Willingness to assist and serve others, even if it falls outside your core responsibilities
