Senior Project Manager - Construction

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of data center construction projects, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget
- Develop requests for proposals (RFPs), manage project budgets, and oversee pre-bid activities
- Coordinate and supervise design-build contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee all design phases, review plans and specifications for constructability, and proactively identify and address potential issues
- Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, including procurement timelines
- Conduct regular project meetings, document milestones, and provide consistent project reporting
- Engage with clients to understand requirements and ensure satisfaction throughout the project
- Oversee on-site construction activities and participate in commissioning and project closeout processes
- Manage contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and procurement processes
- Review contractor billing, perform site walks, and verify project progress
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce OSHA requirements
- Drive process improvements, cost savings, and lessons learned initiatives
- Supervise and mentor project team members, including Superintendents, Project Coordinators, and Assistant Project Managers
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by project needs
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience managing construction projects
- Expertise in civil, structural, architectural (CSA), and mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) construction management
- Experience with data center projects preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Proficient in PROCORE construction management software
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety standards; OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
