Overview:
Seeking an experienced C++ Lead Developer to drive high-performance application development for a leading retail client. The role involves hands-on coding, technical leadership, and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead design, development, and optimization of C++ applications

Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps)
-
Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance tuning
-
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Required Skills:
-
8+ years of C++ development (C++11 or later)
-
Strong in OOP, data structures, algorithms
-
Expertise in multithreading, memory management, performance optimization
-
Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting

Familiarity with Git/version control
-
Strong leadership, debugging, and communication skills
Preferred:
-
Retail domain experience (Macy's a plus)

Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile, DevOps

Experience in legacy modernization/migration
