Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric BMT / Hem-Oncology
Facility: Arthur M. Blank Hospital – Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Start Date: 06/22/2026

Compensation

• Weekly Pay Package: $2,200 – $2,250/week

Job Overview

Arthur M. Blank Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Hem/Onc & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. The RN will work in a specialized pediatric Hem-Onc/BMT unit caring for high-acuity pediatric patients requiring oncology and transplant care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric Hem/Onc and BMT patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, blood products, and chemotherapy-related care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric care teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered patient care

Unit Details

• 24 Hem/Onc beds
• 10 BMT beds
• 17 overflow beds
• H/O and Med Surg patient population
• May float to:
  • General Pediatrics
  • PICU
  • NICU
  • Scottish Rite Aflac campus (within appropriate scope)

Schedule & Coverage

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend required
• Travelers may float between Hem/Onc and BMT floors based on unit needs

Requirements

Required:

• Active GA or Compact RN License
• BMT experience required
• BLS Certification
• PALS Certification (AHA Only)
• APHON Certification

Preferred:

• BSN Degree
• Epic EMR experience
