Travel Electrophysiology Technologist Job
Electrophysiology Technologist travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay range $2,447-$2,532. Shift: four 10-hour days with on-call coverage; typical hours 7:00 am–5:30 pm with on-call Monday through Friday. Work setting is a hospital in a Cardiac Cath/EP lab environment. This assignment requires experience in invasive cardiology procedures and a focus on Cardiac Cath Tech duties (711F Card/Cath Spec). No local candidates within 50 miles. Key Highlights

- Prepare and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, including fluoroscopy and mapping systems; assist with device placements as directed by the interventional team.
- Support catheter manipulation, lead placement, and procedural instrumentation throughout procedures.
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure; respond promptly to hemodynamic changes and safety concerns; provide relative post-procedure care.
- Maintain lab readiness: ensure equipment calibration, inventory, cleaning, and quality control; accurate documentation of procedures and charges. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath lab or electrophysiology lab
- RCIS certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work in a hospital cath lab environment; comfortable with 7:00 am–5:30 pm shifts and on-call coverage Monday through Friday
- Proficiency with sterile technique, radiation safety practices, and use of fluoroscopy and EP mapping systems Benefits and Support
