We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the communications department in executing its initiatives and strategies to enhance our organizational visibility and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and editing press releases, articles, and other communication materials.
• Help manage and update the organization's social media accounts to ensure consistent messaging.
• Conduct research to support communication strategies and campaigns.
• Collaborate with team members to develop creative content for various platforms and audiences.
• Support the planning and coordination of events and outreach initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on communication effectiveness and engagement.
• Assist in maintaining the organization’s website and ensuring content is up-to-date and relevant.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Familiarity with multimedia content creation tools, such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships across departments.
