Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Hours: 12-week assignment
Schedule: 4 days/week, 10 hours/day

Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), left/right heart catheterizations, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertions, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP and Impella placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Conduct vascular, neurological, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic procedures as needed, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, catheter/drain exchange, nephrostomy, stent placement, embolization, liver biopsy, radiofrequency ablation, and more
- Operate in diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, electrophysiology studies, and related procedural settings
- Prep access sites, perform EKG lead placement, maintain sterile field, monitor patients accurately, and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
- Use additional equipment such as IPneumbra, Shockwave, EKOS, and MAC lab procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS required
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertion, IABP, Impella, and hemodynamic monitoring
