In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to control access for employees, contractors, guests, and deliveries at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor areas, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and help to support security-related operations through clear reporting and attention to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
