As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will support a professional environment through detailed reporting and teamwork. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific policies, access procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting emergency services when needed, and following post orders.
- Monitor access points, observe CCTV and/or alarm panels when assigned, and report suspicious or unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be 21 or older.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
