Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in requested specialty License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI (preferred), TNCC (preferred) Must-Have: ICU skills such as arrhythmia monitoring, sedation, paralytics, and knowledge of titratable drips are essential. Experience with CVP monitoring, caring for patients post-craniotomy, TPA administration is required. CCRN and TNCC certifications are preferred. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU. This position involves caring for patients with critical conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, including those experiencing trauma, respiratory failure, and cardiac events. Clinical responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing necessary interventions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care is essential. Floating to other departments may be required based on patient needs. Weekend rotations and holiday expectations apply.
