Community Outreach Canvasser

We are hiring Community Outreach Canvassers in Atlanta, GA to support a mission-driven nonprofit organization through direct community engagement, fundraising support, and field marketing efforts .

This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to start a career in nonprofit outreach, fundraising, marketing, and community engagement . No prior experience is required— full paid training is provided.

This role offers a structured pathway to leadership and management opportunities within 11–12 months based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door and/or street-level canvassing to engage community members
• Clearly communicate the mission, programs, and impact of a nonprofit organization
• Build awareness and encourage community participation and support
• Share information about campaigns, outreach initiatives, and fundraising efforts
• Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude during all interactions
• Participate in daily team meetings, training sessions, and field preparation
• Work with teammates to meet outreach and engagement goals
• Develop leadership skills and assist in training new canvassers as you advance

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a public-facing, outdoor, field-based role
• Outgoing, confident, and friendly personality
• Motivated, dependable, and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• No prior canvassing or marketing experience required (training provided)

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, or fundraising
